Laurie (Larry) Cumberbatch, PhD

Laurie (Larry) Cumberbatch, PhD, joined RSI in 2024 from Apex Physics Partners where he was a medical physicist for almost 7 years. He received his Ph.D. in Medical Physics from Duke University in 2017. Larry is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Medical Physics and is licensed by the Florida Division of Medical Quality Assurance as a Diagnostic Radiological Physicist (DRP214) . Larry supports ACR accreditation (including Breast Imaging Center of Excellence (BICOE), Breast MRI, Breast Ultrasound, Mammography (including tomosynthesis), Stereotactic Breast Biopsy, Nuclear Medicine & PET, Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Ultrasound and Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence (DICOE) as well as the IAC Accreditation programs, RadSite Accreditation and The Joint Commission Accreditation.
