Charles W. “Chip” Dodge
Chip joined RSI in 2021 from Advent Health Orlando where he was a Physicist in the Radiology Residency Department. Prior to that he has worked as a Diagnostic and Nuclear Medicine Physicist as well as Radiation Safety Officer at Houston Methodist and St Luke’s Hospital in Houston Texas. In addition, he has worked as a staff radiation physicist at NASA-JSC. He received his Ph.D. in Medical Physics from Wayne State university in 2006. Chip is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Medical Physics and is licensed by the Florida Division of Medical Quality Assurance as a Diagnostic Radiological Physicist (DRP175) , a Medical Nuclear Physicist (MNP108) and Medical Health Physicist (MHP74) . Chip provides medical physics support for the accreditation of Computed Tomography, Ultrasound, and Mammography equipment. He also provides support for compliance with State, Federal, and TJC requirements in all imaging modalities along with general Medical Physics consultation.
